Mic To Monitor tour to continue on to Singapore

SINGAPORE: Following on from the Prism Sound Mic To Monitor workshops being offered by CDA Pro Audio in Australia in August, the platform is being brought to Singapore residents on the 18th. Taking place at Yong Slew Toh Conservatory of Music – part of the National University of Singapore, the Prism Sound session will be run in partnership with its local distributor, CDA Pro Audio, together with loudspeaker company ADAM Audio and its regional distributor, Consolidated Audio Networks (CAN), and mic manufacturer Audio Technica.

Along with presentations from each manufacturer and discussion topics ranging from audio hardware design to recording techniques and tips to get the most out of your studio, international producer Roland Lim will be attending as the VIP speaker, whose work has resulted in three Top 10 rock metal albums in America, Australia and Canada and two iTunes Best New Artist Singapore listings. Mr Lim will talk Mic to Monitor attendees through some of his mixes and reveal how he gets his signature sound.

‘We’re thrilled to have finally added a date in Asia on our Mic to Monitor tour schedule and we anticipate plenty of demand for places. These seminars are always popular because, no matter where you are in the world, there are new recording tricks and techniques to be learned, even by people who are already making a successful living in this field,’ said Prism Sound sales director, Graham Boswell. ‘Our aim is to give people the opportunity to learn from experts who are happy to share the knowledge they have learned over many years in the industry.’

Places at the event are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis. You can reserve a space ‘here’.
