Midas product launch succeeds in Taipei

TAIWAN: Lee Sheng Musical Instruments Co Ltd recently hosted a product launch event in Taipei for Midas and Klark Teknik. Taking place in mid-April, the one-day launch drew an audience of more than 60 dealers, front of house engineers and rental company representatives to listen to Graham Rowlands of the Music Group discuss the history of the brands as well as their future development.

The event was hosted at the newly opened Sunny Café, also owned by Lee Sheng, and offered an early look at new consoles such as the M32 and ProX. However, the wider Midas range was also presented.

‘We invited our key dealers, some rental companies and some engineers to know more about Midas’ history, its consoles and the specifications of the various new products, such as the M32 and ProX,’ explained Lee Sheng vice president Terry Yang. ‘We covered the entire Pro series including the Pro1, Pro2, Pro3, Pro6, and Pro9, plus Klark Teknik signal processing.’

The success of the event has left the distributor feeling positive about both Midas and Klark Teknik within the Taiwanese industry. ‘We expect it to grow,’ declared Mr Yang. ‘With good support and the best quality products, more people will start to use it. They just need to get off from their old couch and try the new sofa.’
