Mipro and FBT installed at Singapore’s SAFRA Yishun

SINGAPORE: Distributed through Mipro partner, Meditec Trader Pte Ltd, AV World Engineering Pte Ltd has installed FBT and Mipro audio equipment at the SAFRA Yishun Country Club as part of an upgrade to its outdoor sound system. The equipment has been installed to provide BGM as well as to support and provide reinforcement for outdoor activities taking place.
Established in 1972, SAFRA clubs aim to provide an environment for servicemen from the Singapore Armed Forces and their families to bond through lifestyle clubs, services and activities. There are several SAFRA facilities in Singapore. The clubhouse at Yishun is located near the Johor Strait and boasts a resort-like layout accommodating an Olympic sized swimming pool, spa facilities, adventure sports centre, indoor airgun range, KTV lounges and billiard and bowling facilities.
A total of eight FBT Shadow 105T 5-inch full-range loudspeakers with die-cast aluminium wall brackets were distributed throughout the exterior swimming pool area. A Mipro ACT312 Dual Channel Diversity wireless microphone system was also installed with two accompanying AT70W wideband antennas to increase the transmission range. Sources for the wireless system are fed from a Tach MF5000 CD/USB/AM-FM player and SD card reader.
‘The sound is great and the voice reproduction is crystal clear without any signal loss,’ commented Alex Seah, the project installer from AV World Engineering. ‘Installation of the outdoor speakers, wireless microphone and antenna system was problem free and everybody is pleased with the system upgrade. At a recent water sports event, the organisers and spectators were all very happy with the performance of the outdoor sound system.
