KOREA: In response to the strong demand of Mipro wireless microphone and wireless portable PA products in Korea, Mipro has opened a new distribution office in Seoul. Led by 20-year audio veteran, Donghwan Kim, as the company CEO, the new office will manage sales, marketing, application, technical support, and after sales service.
‘Mr Kim has a wealth of experience in the professional audio, PA installation and broadcast markets and is one of the industry's revered audio professionals – hugely respected by friends, colleagues and competitors,’ enthused Mipro president, Solomon Chang. ‘As a national sales manager for the past 15 years in his last employment, he was instrumental in building up the successful Mipro brand image as well as an increased sales and market share. With the new office, we are able to be closer to our customers and we are confident in taking advantage of significant new business opportunities.
‘I am highly pleased to join the Mipro family,’ stated Mr Kim. ‘Mipro is the first wireless microphone brand I have sold in my audio career. Over the past several decades, there have been dozens of domestic and imported brands in the Korean market that have come and gone, but we were able to build-up a solid brand identity by offering high quality, easy-to-use and reliable wireless microphone products. My seasoned team and I will continue to provide a high level of excellence in terms of customer service and technical support.’
The opening of the new Korean office marks another step in Mipro’s continued expansion, following the creation of Mipro Germany in 2014. It also has offices in Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and Austria.
