MSE and Harman host comprehensive workshop for Singapore audio professionals

SINGAPORE: Mahajak SKM Electronics (MSE), the official distributor for Harman Pro products in Singapore, and Harman Professional Asia, recently conducted a product seminar entitled Mixing with Professionals - A Workshop on Digital Technology on 26th February in Singapore. The 3-hour workshop took place in Hood Bar and Café, a live music club outfitted with a full Harman Pro sound reinforcement system. For the event, MSE had setup a live display of some of its newest mixing consoles and portable loudspeaker systems.
Dave Loh, general manager at MSE, was very pleased to see the attendees taking time off from their busy schedules to attend the workshop and was impressed by the enthusiasm of the attendees to gain knowledge throughout.
‘We are committed to offer training not only to our existing partners and customers but also to give an opportunity to any audio professionals who wish to gain more knowledge and upgrade themselves,’ explained Mr Loh. ‘We will continue to hold more such workshops as this will help to reinforce our after sales commitment for users of Harman Pro products in Singapore.’
The product seminar was conducted by Yee Tat Nam, senior application engineer, portable sound at Harman Professional Asia, who diligently covered the key features of the various models from Soundcraft’s Si Performer series, Si Expression series, and JBL’s Eon, JRX, PRX and STX series loudspeakers. Also highlighted during the seminar were the dbx PMC and DriveRack PA2 speaker management unit.
