Multitap Studios taps in to multiple Mackie products

INDIA: Multitap Studios has added to its production setup with the purchase of a Mackie BigKnob control unit and a pair of HR824 reference monitors. Sonotone Electronics’ local office facilitated the sale, which has seen the Mackie monitoring devices installed in the studio’s principal control room.
Owned by record-label Multitap Entertainment, the facility is located in Mumbai and offers production and postproduction services for the film and music industries. ‘The HR824s have an amazing tonal quality that delivers the tiniest detail in every mix, while the BigKnob makes working around mixing and mastering so much more efficient and easy,’ explained Multitap Studios’ chief engineer, Rahul Popawala. ‘The combination in itself is an amazing one, and we’re extremely glad with how well it has worked for us so far!’
