Namsao Media supplies audio for Battle of the Bands Vietnam

VIETNAM: Namsao Media supplied a Harman sound reinforcement solution for the recent Battle of the Bands 2013 rock concert in Ho Chi Minh City, which was headlined by Italian gothic metal band Lacuna Coil, attracting a reported 20,000 people.

The two FOH towers comprised 10 JBL VerTec speakers each, including eight VT4889-1 and two VT 4887 ADP speakers for down-fill, together with six VT4880 subwoofers. Centre-fill comprised four JBL STX 725s and four STX 728S speakers, whilst JBL VT 4882s and VT 4888s provided the delay system each side.

The system was powered by 40 Crown IT HD amplifiers and five Crown Marco Tech amps, using Harman’s Performance Manager.

A Soundcraft Vi1 served at FOH, whilst a Soundcraft Si1 mixer assumed monitoring duties for the eight JBL VRX915Ms and six JBL615M speakers. Four JBL SXT825s were used for stage side-fill, whilst all microphones were from AKG.
