New TC website answers loudness questions

WORLD: TC Electronic has launched a new website to help visitors better understand the thorny issue of loudness within the broadcasting sector. Seeking to answer questions such as ‘what is loudness?’ and ‘why is it important?’, the new site has been described by TC as ‘the answer to any loudness-related questions for today and beyond’.
An extension of the main TC Electronic website, the new site has been organised into sections to help visitors explore loudness in as much depth as they wish. Newcomers can learn about the basics of the issue in the ‘Introduction to Loudness’ section, or find out how each global region is tackling it on the ‘Broadcast Standards’ page.
Elsewhere, the ‘Applications’ section seeks to demonstrate where and when to apply the technology in real-world situations, the ‘Events’ page presents tutorial videos and a list of upcoming TC seminars, and the ‘Literature and Glossary’ section offers a collection of white papers and more.
