New websites for three companies

WEB: Three pro A/V manufacturers have upgraded their online presence. Klippel, Martin Professional and Symetrix have all opted to launch new sites.
Symetrix claims its new website is ‘intuitive and quick to navigate’, and that specific information or downloads are ‘seldom more than two clicks away’. The new site allows users to download free software, explore the ‘Compare all Products’ matrix, and access the specifications and images to complete a bid. ‘Despite its feel of simplicity, the site delivers a wealth of highly relevant and usable content,’ said Dane Butcher, founder and president of Symetrix. ‘A great example is a collection of tools that allow users to perfectly match products to specific applications or venues.’
Klippel’s new site has a focus on education. The measurements and test objects pages provide information on loudspeaker technology and audio engineering, including: interpretation of measurement results, subjective and objective assessment of sound quality, particularities of micro-speakers, headphones, compression drivers and other transducers, optimal tests selected for R&D and end-of-line testing, requirements in automotive, telecommunication and other applications, providing input parameters for FEA/BEA and verifying simulations, and references to national and international standards.
Martin Professional’s eShop has expanded its functionality and changed its name to myMartin. Accessible to preapproved customers, the site is an online source for purchasing Martin Professional lighting, video and smoke products, as well as accessories and spare parts. Users also have access to a host of information including product info, pricing, product availability, special campaigns, ordering information and account management. ‘Our mission is to be the most innovative and inspiring eBusiness partner in the industry with a vision to maintain and develop a full-service, global eBusiness environment that adds real value through dedicated cooperation with our customers,’ said Martin’s eBusiness manager, Katrine Bøje.
