Next-proaudio kits out Q-BAR

MALAYSIA: Next Integration Engineering, Next-proaudio´s Malaysian distributor, recently designed and installed a sound system for Q-BAR, located in Sibu, East Malaysia. The main aims of the installations were to achieve high sound pressure levels and high sound fidelity throughout the venue.

Q-BAR is a small karaoke bar and lounge located in Sibu, Malaysia, just off the coast of the South China Sea, and is described as providing a ‘luxurious nightlife experience, complemented by a fantastic decoration in a comfortable space’. The venue was inspired by New York-style lounge clubs, and along these lines, is looking to regularly host theme nights with the participation of international DJs and live acts.

The Next Integration Engineering’s team designed the system using Next-proaudio’s  X-line, LA Series and MA series. The whole system comprised four X15 and two X12 loudspeakers, combined with two XS118, and four LAS218 subwoofers. Power for the system was provided by MA3200 and MA3800 amplifiers, with the whole system controlled by Next-proaudio’s 2-NSound DP240 loudspeaker management system.
