Palm Expo China cancelled one month before show

CHINA: Informa Exhibitions has cancelled the Palm Expo China exhibition, which was due to open its doors on August 19th at Beijing’s old CIEC. According to the organiser, security approval for the show could not be secured due to 70th anniversary World War II victory celebrations and the hosting of the World Athletics Championships. Proposals to move the show to December or to the new CIEC have reportedly been rejected by exhibitors.
Whilst offering its apologies, Informa also stated that contracts for the 2015 show have been extended to 2016.
