Paul Carasco praises Prism Sound's Atlas

AUSTRALIA: Paul Carasco, an Australian pianist and sound engineer, has invested in a Prism Sound Atlas audio interface for use in multiple productions. Peter Orehov, from CDA Pro Audio, had sent him a Prism Sound ADA-8XR multi-channel converter, leading him to purchase one of the manufacturer's interfaces.
Mr Carasco is also a senior acoustical and audio consultant for SH Acoustics in the USA, and has made the jump to becoming a classical film director and producer over the last three years. He is currently using Prism Sound’s interface on a variety of music and film projects in Vietnam, Russia, the USA, France as well as in his home country.
The interface includes eight microphone presets, two headphone outputs, circuitry and converters. It also offers to connect to multiple units, allowing for over sixteen channels to be used. ‘No other piece of gear has generated anywhere near the income in relation to its cost as this product,’ Mr Carasco explained.
‘The added distraction of capturing video made it imperative to simplify my audio workflow,’ he continued. ‘As this needed to be done without compromising on sound quality, I turned to this interface. Regardless of the distractions I face, audio fidelity is paramount and nothing comes close to the Atlas as an all in one unit. I get great joy knowing that I made the choice to go with Prism Sound.
