Peavey APAC supports distributor seminars in Cambodia and Myanmar

CAMBODIA AND MYANMAR: Peavey APAC recently hosted product seminars in conjunction with its local partners in Cambodia and Myanmar. Held in partnership with distributors Madison in Phnom Penh and Tri-Treasure in Mandalay, the seminars were attended by dealers, system integrators and members of the press.

Conducted by Peavey Electronics consultant, Kent Morris, the seminar in Phnom Penh attracted around 50 people, mostly from TV stations and dealers. The distributor enjoyed a highly successful 2014 fiscal year and organised the event to outline its support for the manufacturer and help strengthen ties within the industry. The seminar in Mandalay welcomed approximately 200 guests to the Tri-Treasure headquarters. Following the lifting of sanctions in Myanmar, both the distributor and manufacturer are keen to capitalise on the potential development that the country has to offer.

Topics of conversation included analogue and powered mixers, passive and active speakers, line array systems and powered amplifiers, with particular attention paid to the differentiation between switch mode and conventional toroidal type amplifiers, the characteristics of an amplifier and different speaker types for different applications and venues. All attendee's were reported to be highly engaged with the sessions.
