Powersoft energises School Cultural Festival

JAPAN: Powersoft’s X8 Dante + DSP eight channel amplifier was called upon to power Adamson SpekTrix line arrays at the annual School Cultural Festival in Tokyo. Local distributor, MTC Japan also provided Powersoft K3DSP + Aesop and M50Q amplifiers for use with Adamson Point 15s which were used as monitors.
The project was designed by production specialist, Art Concertante Raise One, which reportedly selected the Powersoft solution due to the compactness, lightweight, and reduced power consumption.
‘The X8 provides excellent sound and the same number of channels, while taking up less space,’ explained a spokesperson from Raise One. ‘High-load and high-powered line arrays have become a mainstream requirement for the current sound reinforcement scene. With this in mind, the X8 is capable of handling all that is required.'
