Prem Sound caters for all at Sejbahar’s Government Engineering College

INDIA: With its auditorium in constant use supporting a wide range of educational activities, the management at the Government Engineering College in Sejbahar, Raipur, decided to outfit the space with a new sound system capable of supporting ‘any kind of stage-presence with efficiency’. Prem Sound Equipment was responsible for designing, installing and commissioning a new distributed system, choosing to rely on equipment from Dynatech and P.audio.

The newly-installed system features a total of eight P.audio HP-10A active enclosures and a pair of HP-12A cabinets, spread across the FOH position and the periphery of the auditorium to provide even coverage throughout the seating area. Low-end is delivered by a pair of passive Dynatech DEL118 subwoofers, which are driven by a single Dynatech PD-4000 amplifier. The entire setup is controlled and managed by a single Dynatech DriveRack260.

‘Ever since our initial discussions with the management, we knew that a distributed audio system with P.audio and Dynatech products would be the best fit for the venue,’ offered Prem Sound Equipment managing director, Sumit Digania. ‘The products are by far the best in their class and are the most reliable, robust and performance-driven products in the market today. The new system has been running smoothly ever since we’ve installed it and the management and students alike are extremely happy with everything.’
