PT.MTJ kits out Nusantara Learning Centre

INDONESIA: Working to a very tight deadline, pro audio and lighting installation specialist PT. Monalisa Tungga Jaya (MTJ) was recently tasked with designing a complete sound and PA meeting system for ANZ bank’s Nusantara Learning Centre Academy in Indonesia.
As part of an on-going renovation of its meeting roomand lounge area, the management wanted completely new sound systems that would be very reliable and provide good music sound quality to suit any occasion. The old system had been largely unused in recent times due to speaker failures, and so was removed entirely.
New systems were installed into all seven meeting rooms as well as a new café. The design of the café area was completed in tandem with the PA installation, to keep it unobtrusive, and maintain its ‘cosiness’.
According to PT.MTJ ‘the quality of the system was critical for the management of ANZ Bank. It needed to be designed to meet their standards.’
As a result, the team selected 14 8-inch Mach ceiling speakers and two Tecnare MCH-4700 amps – with Russound Multi Display Controller Systems – to power the meeting rooms. Also installed were six Russound MDK-C5 C-Series multi-line display keypads, a Russound Main Controller MCA C-3 and six Aztec wireless microphone ACT-8098 sets.
Due to the design considerations of the café area, PT.MTJ decided against using the same speakers as in the meeting rooms, instead opting for six Cornered Audio C-3 wall mounted speakers coupled to a Bonfile AT-3038 amplifier. The decision was primarily due to the compact size and ‘clean’ look of the C-3 speakers.
‘The equipment selected needed to be simple, interior friendly without anything bulky or seen, and with a good clarity of sound. Also a perfect sound quality was required’ said a PT.MTJ spokesperson.
