QSC installed into Yuanlin Performance Hall

TAIWAN: As part of an extensive refit project, the Yuanlin Performance Hall in Changhua County was recently equipped with a QSC sound reinforcement system. Local dealer Reyn Yang Professional installed the new PA with guidance from Taiwanese QSC distributor, Prosound.
The venue was equipped with several QSC PLX amplifiers, a number of WideLine-10 line array loudspeaker elements and QSC subwoofers. Specifically, a 12-element WL2102 system now provides the audio in the main hall, supplemented with four WL118-sw subwoofers, which are driven by four PLX3102 amplifiers and eight PLX3602s. Meanwhile, an SC28 processor controls the overall system.
‘At first, our client specified a different, domestic set of speakers for the installation,’ admitted Prosound’s Ben Su. ‘However, our appointed dealer Reyn Yang visited the hall several times and utilised EASE to model the performance of the WideLine speakers versus the client’s original choice for this venue. After further evaluation, the client chose to install the QSC system.’
Mr Su reports that ‘according to our clients, the performance of the system for both sound quality and control has been favourable, and the feedback from users in the hall has been positive.’
