Qvest Media partners with Lund Halsey at MediaCorp's Mediapolis

SINGAPORE: Following previous consulting work it had done with MediaCorp to integrate and implement broadcasting equipment within its broadcasting centre at Mediapolis – One North, Qvest Media has been engaged to plan the technical area and interior design. To maximise the use of space within the facility, Qvest Media has partnered with control room and studio furniture specialist, Lund Halsley to equip the production facilities.

A total of 62 editing and colour-grading tables, 36 monitor stands and monitor walls and several rack systems make up some of the 111 pieces of customised equipment supplied by Lund Halsley. This furniture solution will allow Qvest Media to install 500 monitor arms, 150 loudspeaker supports and approximately 150 tabletop enclosures.

‘From the outset we identified Lund Halsey as a partner to ensure successful delivery of the project,’ explained Qvest Media managing director, Konstantin Knauf. ‘Their expertise in the design and manufacture of modular control room furniture has enabled us to supply a large volume of consoles and monitor stacks, fulfilling our customers' requirements.’
