Rane Brothers and Romi Sound boost A&H inventories

INDIA: Newly purchased Allen & Heath equipment supplied by Indian distributor Sun Infonet has been put to use at concerts in Mumbai and Chandigarh. Mumbai-based local rental company Rane Brothers has taken receipt of a dLive S7000 with DM64 racks, while Hoshiarpur-based Romi Light & Sound Service has added a GLD-112 digital mixing system to its audio inventory.
In Mumbai, the dLive was used to support Gaurav Din organised by the Indian Education Society. The event combined speeches with cultural performances and was attended by more than 1,000 people.
Rane bothers owner, Preshant Rane, is also a sound engineer, and largely decided to purchase the dLive based on its feature set. ‘I am impressed with the accuracy level of the equalisation and dynamic processors on board – the effects rack is also an attractive selling point,’ he offered. ‘I am sure I will purchase another one very soon so I can configure a spilt for monitors.’
‘This is the most elegant mixer I had ever seen. Prashant did a very good job by investing in a “game changer”,’ added brother Sanjay Rane.
Over in Chandigarh, an event organised by the Shivalik Public School at Mohali, with performances from renowned singer Satinder Sartaj, gave Romi Sound owner, Romi Bassi, the first opportunity to use his new GLD-112. Prior to the event the Sun Infonet technical team provided demonstrations and training for the new console.
Mr Bassi reports being impressed by the desk’s ‘user-friendly technology and mixing quality’, adding that ‘in comparison with other available brands I found the GLD-112 easy and better.’
