Resolution X returns to 'Dancing with the Stars'

AUSTRALIA: Melbourne-based rental house, Resolution X, has been enlisted to provide lighting and rigging for the 15th season of Australia’s Dancing with the Stars (DWTS). Having also supported the previous 14 seasons, this year’s show gave the company a chance to deploy its Clay Paky A.leda B-Eye and Mythos fixtures.
‘We are proud of our long association with DWTS and each season we have seen the lighting evolve from the last,’ offered Tim Hall, managing director of Resolution X. ‘The team at Resolution X have been fans of the Clay Paky products for many years due to the superior optics, build quality and development that goes into the fixtures. Importantly, on a long season we can rely on the Clay Paky units to keep on working. We rarely need to change out a Clay Paky.’
New fixtures for this year’s lighting rig included A.leda B-Eye K20 units flown and A.leda B-Eye K10s on the floor. Chosen for their ability to compete with the bright studio environment and rear LED screen, the Mythos fixtures joined the familiar DWTS complement of Alpha Beam 700 and Sharpys.
