RMP delivers The Goods

INDONESIA: Rhema Multi Perkasa (RMP) has provided the audio systems for Jakarta-based department store The Goods Dept for the past five years and was recently called in once again to update the store’s sound solution, delivering a system based around Adam Hall brand LD Systems.
The installation comprised six LD Systems SAT 82 loudspeakers and a pair of GT 18A subwoofers. Processing is via an E-Audio DLP3236 speaker management system and control is courtesy of a Soundcraft EFX 8 mixing console. A Munson power sequencer and an ARX Maxisplit line splitter were also deployed.
‘We chose the system due to the cost effective value as well as good sound quality,’ explained Eric Haslim of RMP. ‘We design the system so that the speakers were wall mounted near the corners and ceilings to maximise coverage. The subs are located on the floor and due to space restrictions, we tried to position them as close as possible to corners for even sound dispersion.’
