RTM explores radio solutions with Stagetec Asia

MALAYSIA: Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup recently hosted a Radio Solutions Roadshow, together with Zenon Media, for Radio Televisyen Malaysia’s (RTM) Wisma Radio station. The roadshow highlighted complete radio workflow solutions through product demonstrations from Stagetec Asia partners, including Zenon Media’s radio automation system, as well as DHD and Stagetec broadcast mixing consoles.
The highlight of the roadshow was reportedly the introduction to Visual Radio features, an aspect of Zenon Media which ‘visualises’ radio for mobile apps and TV, and links to social media. Managing director of Zenon Media, Maik Hering, explained that ‘Zenon Media has been well received as the most complete set of integrated broadcast tools, that offers optimal daily workflow and enhances productivity in radio. It is also suitable for all types of radio station, from a small single station to network broadcasters.’
Broadcast audio consoles were also a focus of the event, with participants introduced to Stagetec’s On-Air Flex console and Nexus audio processor. The DHD 52/SX series was also covered during the session, and was described as being the perfect desk for on-air and preproduction when used alongside audio workstations and in smaller OB vans.
Stagetec Asia sales director, Advon Tan, commented that ‘the roadshow was a success and delivered informative solutions to radio broadcasters, as well as integrating social media platforms in their daily routine’.
The roadshow is expected to continue to other radio stations.
