Sama ProSound takes MediaMatrix in South Korea

KOREA: Seoul-based distributor Sama ProSound has been appointed as the sole distributor of MediaMatrix and Architectural Acoustics in South Korea. The agreement was jointly announced at the recent Pro Light & Sound exhibition by Sama ProSound president Jason Inn and Peavey Commercial Audio APAC sales manager TJ Lim.
The news follows a period of contact between both parties, during which the potential of working together became increasingly obvious. ‘I have known of Sama’s reputation within the industry for quite some time,’ explained Mr Lim. ‘With the capacity, resourcefulness and professionalism of Jason and his team, I believe that Sama is a very good fit for the Korean customers of MediaMatrix and Architectural Acoustics.’
The appointment sees MediaMatrix added to an already impressive portfolio of professional brands including Shure, Allen & Heath, HK Audio, TC Electronic and more.
'I’m very honoured and very pleased to become the new distributor for MediaMatrix,’ enthused Mr Inn. ‘We have been looking for a solution like this for a long time. One of my best friends introduced this opportunity to us and we began to discuss how we could work together – now we have come to the conclusion that our two companies are a good match.’
He added, ‘MediaMatrix sets the standard. We’re going to make every possible effort to introduce it to the market, starting with training – it’s very important to let people know about what they can do with these products, and that we are now offering complete solutions.’
Mr Lim concluded, ‘We are very excited and I am sure we will definitely be achieving a lot together’.
