Sanecore Group supplies Huizhou Culture and Arts Center

CHINA: The recently opened Huizhou Culture and Arts Center – based in Huizhou City – is using a Sanecore Group-supplied audio system comprising EAW loudspeakers, Powersoft amplification and Allen & Heath mixing.

Described by Sanecore Group as a symbolic building within its region, the Culture and Arts Center boasts 40,224 sq-m of total building area including a theatre with 1,359 seats, a multifunctional hall offering 519 seats and a smaller music venue with a capacity of 290. Among the performances taking place within the Center are operas, dramas, dance dramas, acrobatics, and orchestral symphonies.

Included in the new audio installation are 10 EAW UB12se loudspeakers used as front fills plus 24 CR72z coaxial speakers for surround, with four KF850z three-way full range boxes and two SB528z subwoofers covering the parquet and the circle. Four EAW MK5294 speakers are used as side fill for the stage area, combined with six SM159z mobile stage monitors for foldback. Powersoft K series digital power amplifiers drive the installation, controlled by a Powersoft HUB16 network controller and Audio Suite control software. At front of house is an Allen & Heath ML4000-48 analogue mixer.

Within the multifunctional hall are two EAW MK5294 and two SB528z cabinets plus a mobile monitor system with a pair of EAW SM129z boxes.
