Schoeps announces leadership changes

WORLD: Following the resignation of CEO Ulrich Schoeps, German microphone manufacturer Schoeps has announced that Karin Fléing will join Dr Helmut Wittek as co-chief executive officer. The company remains privately owned, with Mr Schoeps as the majority shareholder.
Mrs Fléing joined Schoeps in 2007 and moves to the position of co-CEO from director of sales and marketing. Her new role will see her tasked with modernising the company’s sales and marketing activities. Dr Wittek has been at Schoeps since 2005, and co-CEO since 2009. His responsibilities have now been extended beyond the technical arena. It is stated that he will maintain very close contact with pro audio and sound engineering communities.
