ASIA: Sennheiser Asia has signed a deal with Italian loudspeaker manufacturer K-Array to distribute its products in key Asian territories. The deal reflects similar agreements between the manufacturer and many of Sennheiser’s regional offices around the world.
K-Array’s move into the Asia markets is described by the company as part of a broad plan to develop strong distribution for the brand, leveraging Sennheiser Asia’s existing channels. The agreement reportedly covers Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Maldives, Nepal and Mauritius, and encompasses the full professional K-Array range. The manufacturer is also set to support the Singapore-based Sennheiser office with product training and consultancy.
‘We are thrilled that Sennheiser Asia will be looking after the distribution of our products,’ enthused K-Array CEO Alessandro Tatini. ‘We are seeing unprecedented growth at K-array, and having Sennheiser Asia on board means that we have a strong partner to help us tap into these growing Asian markets. We look forward to a long and successful collaboration.’
Sennheiser Asia’s president and managing director, Ng Chee Soon, was equally pleased with the new agreement, explaining that the K-Array range will ‘enhance our overall installed sound portfolio, enabling us to reach a wider market for professional sound systems. We look forward to seeing this partnership grow.’
