SINGAPORE: To further its growth in both the consumer and pro audio markets, Sennheiser Asia has opened its inaugural wholly-owned store in Singapore at Marina Square Shopping Mall. The store showcases the manufacturer’s catalogue of audio equipment, providing consumers, music professionals and sound engineers with not only an outlet in which to purchase new products, but a range of extra services.
In addition to selling its consumer and professional audio products in the store, such as headphones, microphones for musicians and journalists and BYOD audio conferencing systems, the Sennheiser Brand Store serves as a drop-off and pick-up point for the manufacturer’s headphone and microphone servicing operation. Another service provided in-store is a demonstration of Sennheiser’s MobileConnect assistive listening solution. The solution streams live audio content over Wi-Fi to a user’s mobile phone or tablet.
‘Our Brand Store in Singapore is a hive of technical innovation where we demonstrate how we relentlessly pursue the creation of perfect sound,’ stated director, direct sales at Sennheiser, Dennis Wendt. ‘Both consumers and musicians can come here to experience the Sennheiser sound, and share with us their passion for audio.’
As part of the expansion within the Singaporean market, Sennheiser Asia has also partnered with leading regional artists, 53A and Jack & Rai. ‘We have been using Sennheiser wired microphones for a while now and have been impressed by how the products have given our music more depth during our live gigs and recordings,’ said Sara Wee of 53A. ‘With Sennheiser, we have found an audio solution that has really taken our music to the next level,’ added Jack Ho, the Jack from Jack & Rai. ‘Our experience with a wide range of audio gear in the past tells us that Sennheiser’s professional range is formidable in its own right.’
‘Singapore is a key market for us, and this is an integral part of our regional go-to-market strategy to continually reach out to consumers here in innovative ways,’ concluded Martin Low, Sennheiser Asia’s vice president, sales and marketing. ‘The brand store will reach out to both music enthusiasts and audio professionals alike through one single touchpoint.’
The store is open daily from 11am to 9pm.
