Sennheiser supports Day of German Unity

CHINA: Sennheiser recently supported the annual Day of German Unity at a reception held by the German Consulate in Shanghai at the Hotel Intercontinental Expo in Pudong.

Rolf Becker and his Big Band performed to a reported 1,000 guests, as did singer Frank Bray. Naturally, Sennheiser supplied all microphones for the band, vocals and for a speech given by Wolfgang Roehr, consul general of the Germany Consulate in Shanghai. These mics included various models from the Evolution series, whilst speakers comprised K-Array’s KR402 for the main PA and a number of KR202s for side-fills.

‘As an audio specialist from Germany, Sennheiser is pleased to have been the company that supplied the audio,’ said a Sennheiser China company spokesperson.

‘The reception was open to all Germans and friends of Germany, and was sponsored by German companies in China,’ said Ina Schroeder, managing director of Yin Touch Ltd, which works with Sennheiser on various projects in China.
