Sennheiser supports Mario and Joyce

CHINA: Sennheiser recently sponsored an intimate performance by an acclaimed duo from the Hong Kong music industry. Mario Bernardo performed with his protégé Joyce Yiu in a concert that showcased the power of the human voice. Sennheiser provided a full compliment of equipment including a wireless microphone system and K-array speaker system.
‘Mario Bernardo and Joyce Yiu are compelling artists and we were happy to have a chance to support them,’ said Marc Vincent, president of Sennheiser, Greater China. ‘Any way that we can help nurture the inspiration of Hong Kongers to take to the stage and engage in music and the arts, we’re eager to get involved.’
On the stage with Sennheiser branded trusses and making use of the professional equipment sponsored by the manufacturer – which included the 2000 series wireless microphone system and K-array speaker system – Mr Bernardo and Mr Yiu covered a wide repertoire from Broadway hits to Leonard Cohen numbers in a moving concert that offered an audio treat for more than 400 audience members.
In the Sennheiser booth just outside the concert hall, the public also had a chance to try out Sennheiser’s Momentum On Ear headphones before the show.
‘No matter how good a musician may be, it’s not easy to always produce the sound you really want to produce,’ said Mr Bernardo of this show’s sonic success. ‘But, with Sennheiser’s professional sound system sponsoring us, it gave us so much confidence to sing.’
