Shang Xi Systems chooses BXB for Sun Yet-sen University

TAIWAN: Having been selected by the Ministry of Education as one of seven leading research facilities, Sun Yet-sen University in Taiwan began construction on the International Research Building. The university campus spans more than 700,000 sq-m, but with more than half of this unusable, the International Research Building is intended to maximise campus space. Spread over six storeys, the building houses a 100-capacity amphitheatre, a conference room and research rooms. The project to outfit the conference room with a BXB Electronics solution was undertaken by Mr Huang of Shang Xin System Co Ltd.
With the university keen to retain a neat appearance, BXB’s latest FCS-6300 series flush-mount microphones were selected for the project. A total of 22 delegate units were integrated into the conference tables, each equipped with a flexible gooseneck microphone to allow participants on either side of the table to share a single device. Chairman units have been installed at three positions with control of the system provided from three Asus touchscreens. The system can also be augmented with an HD dome camera to provide image tracking of the speaker.
