SKH brings clarity and coverage to Malacca’s Swiss-Garden Hotel

MALAYSIA: Overlooking Malacca’s UNESCO World Heritage Zone, Swiss-Garden Hotel & Residences is a four-star hotel adjoining The Shore shopping complex. Impressed by the installation of Yamaha equipment at another establishment in Malacca, the complex management, Kerjaya Prospek Sdn Bhd, called upon the services of Yamaha Malaysia's dealer, SKH Sound & Light, to replicate the design at key locations on both properties, with ‘clear, high-quality audio’ coverage.
The hotel has a spacious Grand Hibiscus Ballroom that SKH has equipped with 30 Yamaha VXC8W in-ceiling speakers that draw power from eight P3500S amplifiers. A Yamaha MGP32X console installed in an overhead control booth provides mixing, with monitoring from HS5W speakers. An additional nine meeting rooms in the hotel have each been equipped with mobile setups including an MG16XU mixer, DXR10 powered loudspeakers and DXS15 subwoofer.
Two outside areas in the hotel, Garden Terrace Coffee and Sky Garden, allow customers to dine with background music entertainment. Each has been outfitted with an MG06 mixer, six pairs of VXS5 surface-mount speakers and six DBR10 powered speakers.
In the adjoining shopping complex, a Yamaha MG16XU console, DXR12 cabinets and DXS15 subwoofers provides audio coverage throughout the mall’s concourse, offering ‘reinforcement for various promotional activities and events'.
