Sony enjoys more than a cup of coffee in Singapore

SINGAPORE: Mocha Chai Laboratories has become the first company in Singapore to invest in a Sony BVM-X300 4K Trimaster EL OLED Master Monitor. The only facility in Singapore to possess Dolby Atmos certification, Mocha Chai Lab selected the Sony OLED device to enable the monitoring of material in UHD and 4K as required by its broadcast and cinema industry clients.
Providing services for filmmakers and producers, such as DCP mastering, format conversions and subtitling, Mocha Chai Lab has adapted in recent years, becoming Singapore’s inaugural digital lab with added services including offline editing to final picture online, colour grading and sound post services. ‘A big part of our business is ensuring industry standards are met in colour accuracy for cinema monitoring and film production,’ noted Yeewei Chai, a film writer, director and producer, in addition to being the founder of Mocha Chai Lab. ‘The BVM-X300 features cutting-edge technology that simply leaves no room for contention in its colour accuracy.
