Southern Broadcast brings VoxPro to NZ

NEW ZEALAND: Following its recent acquisition of the VoxPro digital audio editor from Audion Labs, Wheatstone has announced a new distribution and support agreement with Auckland-based broadcast engineering, sales and installation company, Southern Broadcast, to bring the product to New Zealand. The software is a PC-based application with a control surface for one-touch recording and features for on-air editing.

‘VoxPro nicely complements our studio product line as an excellent digital recorder and editor made specifically for broadcast,’ said Marcus Bekker from Southern Broadcast Ltd. ‘A number of broadcasters in New Zealand already rely on VoxPro and others we know will be very keen to get on board.’

‘VoxPro sits next to our audio consoles and integrates seamlessly into our WheatNet-IP audio network, and makes a great complementary addition to the studio and our dealers’ offerings worldwide,’ added Wheatstone director of sales Jay Tyler, who added that the product will also be available through the existing VoxPro dealer network.
