Spice FM's vision is crystalClear with its new setup

BANGLADESH: Dhaka’s 96.4 Spice FM radio station has adopted Lawo’s crystalClear virtual mixer for its new setup. It comes as the station brings in new staff members, more updated technology and alters its programme delivery. The installation began in early 2016 and was completed in May.
‘Price was one of the main concerns,’ comments Boon Siong Tan, South East Asian sales director at Lawo’s Singapore office. ‘The virtual radio console offers the best fit for their requirements, both in terms of price and their aim to make the studio design special and unique.’
The station was also pleased with its investment. ‘We are very satisfied and grateful for the support given to complete the studios with minimum concerns over operation, technical setup and implementation,’ a spokesperson from Spice FM stated.
Alongside the virtual mixer, Spice FM’s setup includes two PC screens, four microphones and a headphone amplifier, as well as a telephone set for incorporating phone-ins into the programming.
