Stagetec Asia becomes MVP supplier for broadcasting

MALAYSIA: Mobile Viewpoint (MVP) has appointed Stagetec Asia as its exclusive supplier in Malaysia due to the distributor’s expertise within the broadcast sector. The latest appointment increases Stagetec Asia’s penetration of the broadcast market, following the recent partnerships it has formed with Minnetonka and Linear Acoustic.
The manufacturer of adaptive IP-based video encoders has served several international broadcasters, including the BBC and NBC Sports, while Stagetec Asia has witnessed major growth as a service provider within the Asian broadcast community. ‘The alliance is an excellent partnership, as both companies are able to complement their respective strengths in the broadcast market,’ noted Stagetec Asia’s sales director, Advon Tan.
