Star India Sports Studio outfitted with Grass Valley

INDIA: One of the leading Indian broadcasters, Star India Ltd, has equipped its sports studio in Mumbai with a suite of live production equipment from Grass Valley. The new equipment will reportedly provide the ‘flexibility and productivity to deliver compelling content across multiple platforms, in less time’.

The equipment purchased includes a Densité modular platform, which offers signal management solutions for audio and video conversion, Karrera K-Frame S-series switchers and an Nvision router, designed specifically for broadcast needs with features to keep audio and video signals ‘flowing smoothly’.
