STG Mediaplex goes with AirBox for OTT channel

THAILAND: STG Mediaplex has invested in a PlayBox solution from reseller Central Solution Company comprising the AirBox Neo playout and TitleBox graphics generation systems. The television content provider acquired the solution for a new HD channel that will be streamed via AIS Doonee.
‘AirBox Neo is easy to operate, versatile and backed by very good technical support from PlayBox Technology Thailand,’ noted STG Mediaplex CEO Jatuphol Suteesathaporn. ‘We already operate three satellite television channels and this is our first OTT channel.’
Apichart Prugtayanon from Central Solution Company explained that a complete channel-in-a-box solution had been provided, which streams directly from its IP output to the AIS network. ‘AirBox Neo enables STG Mediaplex to create and maintain its own channel branding using the TitleBox Neo character generation module and to schedule live or archived content for playout,’ he said.
