SINGAPORE: Suitcase TV, an IP-based technology developer, has opened its new APAC sales and service hub as it aims to respond to global demand. The site will be the focal point for the company’s activities in the region and will be led by James Ng, who joins as head of sales APAC.
With 27 years of experience in broadcast, postproduction and high-end multimedia productions, Mr Ng began his career producing multi-projector presentations, progressing into editorial positions where he worked on a range of systems. He was also involved in feature films as a sound designer and postproduction supervisor, and served as manager at systems integrator, Technical Media Services. Mr Ng brings knowledge of system design, high-speed storage architecture and converged workflow environments to Suitcase TV.
‘Even in the internet age, there is nothing better than feet on the ground and local knowledge,’ explained Fraser Jardine, commercial director for the company. ‘We have been aware for some time that a physical presence was necessary, and thanks to a long and productive professional relationship with James, I am delighted to have the right person for the job.’
‘Suitcase has an award-winning range of products, and I very much look forward to bringing those benefits to this vast and vibrant market,’ enthused Mr Ng.
