Sun Infonet and Shure help India to master wireless

INDIA: Sun Infonet recently partnered with Shure MEA to once again host its Wireless Mastered seminar series in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. The seminars focused on wireless microphone technologies. Each session was led by Shure MEA technical support engineer Andrea Granata. Topics covered included the importance of wireless, spectrum legislation, wireless systems networking and advanced frequency coordination. Attendees at all three events comprised representatives from local rental companies and freelance sound engineers.

As well as gaining knowledge of how to use RF technology, participants were also trained on Shure’s Wireless Workbench software and analysers from third party manufacturers, learning to scan, coordinate and monitor frequencies. Hands-on sessions with the wireless products including the Axient, UHF-R, ULX-D, QLX-D and PSM1000 systems were also provided.

‘As Shure’s distributor, Sun Infonet has always provided the platform to gain in-depth knowledge about existing and upcoming technology,’ commented Zaker Hussain, one of the attendees and owner of Hyderabad-based rental company Taher Sound. ‘Such seminars provide a unique and very useful platform to showcase competitive advantages and to exchange information, ideas and experiences.’
