Suning brings Christie to Nanjing and Xuzhou

CHINA: Suning Cinema has installed Christie projectors at its two recently opened multiplexes in Nanjing and Xuzhou. The Suning Commerce Group-owned cinema chain has called upon Christie projection systems in the past, acquiring CP42LH for its Shanghai and Zhenjiang venues last year.

The 13-screen Nanjing Suning Cinema has been fitted with CP2208 3DLP systems, which can project a range of content, including DCI, 3D and High Frame Rate (HFR). Meanwhile, in Xuzhou, a Christie 6P laser projection system has been installed in the eight-screen theatre’s flagship auditorium, comprising a Freedom 6P RGB laser projection system with rack-mounted laser module. The other auditoriums catered for by CP2220, CP2230 and CP4230 digital cinema projectors from Christie’s Solaria series.

‘We are pleased to deploy a range of Christie cinema projection systems in our two newest multiplexes,’ said a spokesperson from Suning Cinema. ‘This is a testimony of the strong relationship and trust that we have built with Christie.’
