TAIWAN: Rui Yin Co Ltd has completed a BXB conference system installation at Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan. Founded nearly 90 years ago as the first Catholic university in the country, the institution practices holistic education and is committed to the pursuit of ‘truth and the integration of Western and Chinese cultural values’. The university’s Kuo-His building accommodates a number of audiovisual-equipped spaces that have made the establishment a favourite for hosting international seminars and performances.
A total of 197 FCS-6300 series handheld microphones were integrated into the backs of each armchair in the auditorium and equipped with a digital DSP voice processing chip – with Automatic Gain Control (AGC) and the ability to set individual input sensitivities for each microphone. The system is managed by an FCS-6340 main control unit and can be remotely operated both wired or wirelessly from a computer or smartphone via TCP/IP. The control unit’s RS-485 interface also allows it to connect with BXB’s high-speed dome video cameras to provide image magnification of the selected speaker.
