The PA People nominated for Australian Events Award

AUSTRALIA: The PA People has been nominated for an Australian Events Award as a result of its involvement in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2015 European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan. Selected as a finalist for the Best Technical Achievement or Innovation award, the PA People was reportedly selected from hundreds of entries across the country. The Australian Event Awards Industry Night of Nights will be held at Doltone House, Hyde Park in Sydney's CBD on Tuesday 17th November.

'The PA People is extremely honoured to have been selected as a finalist in the 2015 Australian Event Awards for Best Technical Achievement or Innovation,' enthused Chris Dodds, managing director at The PA People.

The company was tasked with providing communications, CCTV and technical services to support the two ceremonies, which were watched live by 70,000 spectators in the newly constructed Baku National Stadium.
