TITV Taiwan opts for MC1 at new facility

TAIWAN: Ross Video has supplied an MC1 Master Control Switcher to TITV Taiwan. The broadcaster, a semi-government-funded organisation dedicated to indigenous peoples, needed a reliable switcher capable of delivering broadcast quality feeds from its newly-opened Taipai City facility. TITV chose the MC1 because of its affordability and ease-of-use.

‘We selected the MC1 for its quality, powerful features and friendly user interface. The touchscreen is a great function and, overall, the MC1 is very easy to use,’ said Ethan Chang, project manager at TITV. ‘Normally, we need two or three people to do master control, but with the MC1, we need only one.’

So far, the master controller has met all of the broadcaster's needs. In particular it was impressed with the SqueezeBack feature, which allows another video source or graphic to be programmed or used for emergency services.

‘I’m very happy with the level of support and service provided by Ross Video, and look forward to working with them in the future,’ continued Mr Chang. ‘My positive experience makes me proud to be a Ross customer.’
