TSL Products seeks expansion in Asia

ASIA: TSL Products has appointed Dan Shihata as field sales engineer for South East Asia – including Australia and New Zealand. Moving from the position of TSL Products’ support solution engineer, he will be tasked with growing the company’s market reach throughout the APAC region.
‘Dan has done a fantastic job of supporting our clients technically and building strong relationships within the region,’ commented managing director of TSL Products, Chris Exelby. ‘It’s a natural transition for him to move into a sales role, as he knows first hand what our customers need to make their audio great and their jobs easier. With installations ranging from the Australian parliament in Canberra to the Cricket World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, we continue to demonstrate our commitment to the APAC and ANZAC regions.’
Joining the manufacturer following the completion of a BEng in electronic and electrical engineering, Mr Shihata has reportedly managed a number technical projects in the APAC region, including overseeing responsibility for delivering and installing over 1000 MDUs into a major Singapore broadcaster, supplying Pam2 MK2 Dolby units in Malaysia and delivering a range of Audio monitoring units into a global Indonesian broadcaster as it prepares for transition from SD to HD.
‘The practical experience and knowledge I have gained within the technical support team strengthens the level of service we can offer our clients,’ added Mr Shihata. ‘TSL Products has a great portfolio of broadcast solutions and I am excited to have the opportunity to build on our current success.’
