Voice Acoustic engages Kinzel AVL for international growth

WORLD: German loudspeaker and amplifier manufacturer Voice Acoustic has entered into an agreement with trade agent Kinzel AVL to promote international development. The deal will see well known industry figure Michael Kinzel work alongside the Voice Acoustic team to develop the brand globally, establishing sales channels, promoting media awareness and forming relationships with A/V consultants and decision makers.

Based in the north of Germany, Voice Acoustic was established by Stefan Rast in 2006, following an early entry into the professional audio industry. Mr Rast reportedly visited the Pro Light & Sound exhibition for the first time at 14 years old and established his first pro audio business four years later at the age of 18. In 2004 he took on the German distribution for Swiss brand Audio Performance before founding Voice Acoustic two years later.

‘During our early years we’ve mainly sold our systems directly to end users – we’ve only recently opened up sales channels into international markets like Switzerland, Russia and Korea,’ explained Mr Rast. ‘Then we met Michael who had just set up his own company near Hamburg, which is not far from us, and it clicked right away. We’re really excited to work with Michael and to develop our international business over the next couple of years.’

Mr Kinzel is best known for having previously held roles with beyerdynamic and Kling & Freitag. ‘When I met the Voice Acoustic team a few weeks back I really had kind of a déjà vu,’ he reported. ‘The whole set-up reminded me of the early K&F. When I left in summer 2006 it was a well renowned international brand with plenty of high profile reference projects. Our goal with Voice Acoustic is no less than that.’
