Voice of Joy expands Tecnare inventory

INDIA: Hyderabad-based sound rental company, Voice of Joy, has purchased a large-format Tecnare line array system from New Delhi-based Soundworks India. The decision to acquire the new system follows Voice of Joy’s previous purchase of the smaller Tecnare LA208.
The latest acquisition included 16 LA312PCC mid/high elements and eight LA218VPCC long throw subwoofers. The company reportedly decided to purchase the larger system following repeated requests from customers and guests at shows about the LA208’s performance. This has prompted the owners to invest in an ‘all Tecnare’ inventory.
Alongside the new larger array, Voice of Joy purchased a further 12 LA208 cabinets, taking its complete LA208 inventory up to 30. Training was provided by Soundworks owner Preet Singh and Tenacre’s Pedro Cortez on the PPC software in addition to rigging and setting up the section.
