Wanda invests in Dolby ShowVault/IMB storage servers

CHINA: Leading Chinese cinema chain, Wanda Cinema Line Corporation, has announced the purchase of more than 400 Dolby ShowVault/IMB dedicated storage servers. The systems are planned for deployment into all new Wanda cinema screens built in the country before the end of 2015.
‘The ShowVault/IMB has already proven its worth in our existing cinemas, delivering outstanding performance and high reliability,’ said Zeng Maojun, board director and general manager of Wanda Cinema Line Corporation. ‘We are very pleased to continue this collaboration with Dolby and we are confident the ShowVault/IMB will help ensure high-quality digital cinema presentation in our new screens in 2015.’
