Wanda Vista Hefei accommodates Harman family

CHINA: Shenzhen Hongzhe Intelligent Systems Engineering has installed a Harman A/V solution comprising JBL speakers, Crown amplifiers, AKG microphones, BSS audio processing and AMX A/V systems at Wanda Vista Hefei. The five-star hotel, located in the Binhu New District of Hefei, required the ability to provide audio coverage for different functions across several different areas.
‘When we host high-profile events, such as when Wanda Group recently held their annual shareholder’s meeting in our grand ballroom, it’s important for our A/V equipment to consistently deliver the highest quality sound,’ explained Chen Xiaojun, director of A/V operations at Wanda Vista Hefei. ‘And as a five-star hotel, we strive to maintain an elegant atmosphere, and a portion of that ambience comes from the music that plays throughout the hotel. Our audio equipment needs to be top of the line to meet the hotel’s high standards and overcome acoustic challenges created by the traditional architecture of the building.’
The systems integrator supplied JBL speakers from the Eon500, CSS Commercial and Contractor Control series. ‘JBL Control Series ceiling speakers are integrated seamlessly into the hotel’s foyer and high lobby ceilings,’ said Mr Xiaojun. ‘They are unobtrusive and blend in aesthetically, while providing excellent clarity and pleasing sound quality. We also use JBL Eon Series powered speakers for when we host events that require portable sound reinforcement.’
The AKG WMS470 system captures speech in the hotel’s grand ballroom and meeting rooms. Signals are routed to Crown CT Series amps via a BSS PDP-DSP public address processor and CobraNet network. An AMX NX-3200 central control panel facilitates remote control of the A/V setup using a wireless tablet.
