Adamson expands UAE partner network with S-Series sales

UAE: Adamson S-Series systems have been purchased by Dubai-based production companies Ultra Technology LLC and Purple Mice LLC. Both companies are described as having worked closely with the regional Adamson distributor, Thomsun, during the course of their decision.

Founded in 2004, Ultra Technology offers a variety of services across sectors such as audio, video, lighting, staging, special effects and rigging. Similarly, Purple Mice LLC, based in the Al Qusais Industrial Area, offers a full service approach. Both companies have purchased 16 S10 line array elements plus eight S119 subwoofers, with power via Adamson E-Racks loaded with Lab.gruppen PLM12k44 amplifiers.

‘We had been contemplating adding a new line array to our inventory for a while,’ explained Vaseem M. Koya, founder and managing director of Ultra Technology. ‘The S10 had great reviews from companies using it around the world. We were equally impressed when we heard it. It is unbelievably powerful for a sub-compact system.’

‘It is a compact and powerful PA,’ adds Sudhish Soman, FOH engineer, Purple Mice. ‘We wanted to add a PA that would support our growing conference and concert business. When we heard it we knew it was what we were looking for.’

Following the purchases, David Dohrmann, technical director Asia-Pacific for Adamson, presented two days of training to both companies. During each seminar he presented detailed instruction in Adamson’s Blueprint AV simulation software including designing in 2D, complex surface design and designing in 3D. He also offered attendees a complete overview of Lake processing including Adamson’s Array Shaping groups and X-tilt groups. Additional time was spent with rigging and measurement of the system.

‘This is a growing industry and the market is more receptive to a quality solution with a proven history of a support system,’ added Mr Koya. ‘The training aspect plays an important role in ensuring that we get the maximum use out of the system we have invested in.’
