AsimetrikPro Academy launches with Midas training

TURKEY: A new initiative offering technical training to assist with the continuing professional development of sound engineers has launched in Istanbul. Named AsimetrikPro Academy, the educational facility is a sister company to distributor and systems integrator, Asimetrik.
‘The main issue within the industry nationally is the lack of knowledge-sharing. This disables dissemination of information and prevents advancement in qualification. We are aiming to create an interactive hub for industry professionals where they can come and join training and furthermore, discuss their experiences within a friendly environment. Given its positioning, AsimetrikPro Academy is a genuine novelty in Turkey,’ said AsimetrikPro Academy vice president, Görkem Çelikbilek, and executive director, Serkan Payım, in a joint statement.
The training centre is launching with a pair of two-day Midas Pro Series user seminars. Taking place on May 12 and 13 then May 17 and 18, the sessions will include a theoretical introduction of the series, followed by a day and a half of hands-on training at the AsimetrikPro Academy. Both sessions will be led by Mr Payım.
